About the Course

The Control of Asbestos Regulations include the duty that employers shall provide appropriate training for all workers who are likely to be exposed to asbestos and to those who supervise or oversee works that might expose employees to asbestos. This includes the self-employed who must ensure they have up to date training. The certificate issued for this online asbestos training course is UKATA Approved and will issue a standard UKATA generated certificate on completion. Validated for a period of 12 months from date of issue, the qualification is suitable for all trades, supervisors AND for refresher training. This course is designed to provide awareness of asbestos only, it does not allow you to carry out any work with asbestos containing materials.

Who Should Attend?

Supervisors and trades personnel, including trainees such as but not limited to: demolition workers, construction workers, general maintenance staff, electricians, plumbers, gas fitters, painters and decorators, joiners, plasterers, roofers, heating and ventilation engineers, telecommunication engineers, fire and burglar alarm installers, computer installers, architects, building surveyors, shop-fitters and other such professionals.
